Curb Appeal ~ A Seller’s Secret Weapon

Or… How to Avoid Those Pesky Drive-bys

I cannot tell you how many times early in my real estate career when I would be sitting in a public open house on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon watching car after car slow down, look at the house, but never stop. The dreaded drive-by . UGH!  So frustrating because you know if they would just come in, you could sell them this fabulous house.

So many sellers spend all their resources on the inside and none on the outside.  Big mistake. You can’t get a buyer to buy unless they actually enter your home.  Spend a little time and money on painting the front door, trimming bushes, cleaning your windows and pot a few flowers.  Not expensive to do, and worth every penny.  Check out these homes.  All great examples of good curb appeal.
